It is anticipated the newsletter will be published on a quarterly

THINK
SPRING!! PARK
NEWS………….. The
much anticipated covered bridge is almost ready for all to enjoy!
The newest addition to the park was made possible with a grant
available from Union County. The
covered bridge links the two raised pinnacles in the playground.
Come and take a peek at this wonderful piece of nostalgia!!

the zone The
Zoning Commission is currently reviewing and
updating the Zoning Resolution Book for Allen Township.
Dates and times of the meetings are published in the Marysville
Journal Tribune, as well as posted at the Community Building.
If you have any suggestions or recommendations, you are more than
welcome to attend. Some
of the topics of discussion have been lot sizes, ponds, definition of
terms, etc..
A
questionnaire is in the works to aid the Commission on their current and
future tasks. So keep an eye
out for these to be in your mailboxes in the near future!! |
If
you need additional information, contact the Fire Department. Stop
by the Fire Department’s booth at the upcoming Marysville Honda
Wellness Fair. There will
be literature and information on Fire Prevention.
The Wellness Fair is being held in April!!
Contact the Fire Department for more details!! If
you do not know what to do with your aluminum cans, a Shriner’s
receptacle is placed at the Fire Department for your convenience to drop
off your cans. Proceeds
benefit select hospitals. The
fire service has seen a dramatic increase in call volume.
The Allen Township Department alone, responded to 836 calls in
2002. The
staff is educated in dealing with a variety of accidents, injuries and
medical situations. There
is constant training, education and hands-on situations that enable the
staff to step up to the plate to take care of the member’s in the
Community in a professional, qualified and caring manner. Throughout
different publications of the Allen Township Gazette, you will see
different training and educational opportunities taking place on a
regular basis. DON’T
